Foundation contractor — engineered, poured, and inspected.
Excavation, footings, poured and block foundations, waterproofing, and structural repairs for new construction, extensions, and dormers across Long Island. Everything above the ground depends on getting this part right.
A foundation is the one part of a house nobody sees and everybody depends on. We build it to the engineer's drawings, waterproof it, and have it inspected before a single stud goes up.
Foundations & Concrete on Long Island.
Every Cabra Prestige Group new home starts in the ground, and so do most extensions and full-dormer projects. We excavate, form, and pour footings and foundation walls to the engineered plans, coordinate the inspections the town requires at each stage, and waterproof the exterior before backfill — so the basement stays dry through the Long Island water table and freeze-thaw seasons.
Our foundation work in Nassau County includes full poured foundations for ground-up homes, frost-protected footings and foundations for extensions and additions, piers and footings for decks and porches, garage and basement slabs, foundation waterproofing and drainage, and structural repairs — cracked or bowing walls, settled footings, and the sill and framing damage that follows water intrusion.
Because we are the general contractor and not just the concrete sub, the foundation is coordinated with everything that comes after it: anchor bolts and sill plates placed for the framing crew, sleeves and penetrations set for plumbing and electrical, and elevations checked so the finished floors land where the plans say they will.
